Making YouTube part of what you collect
YouTube use of your music can generate revenue through several routes. Which of them apply to you depends on rights, territory and current platform rules — we set out what is available before delivery rather than promising an outcome.
YouTube Music delivery
Where your release is eligible, it is delivered to YouTube Music and as an Art Track alongside your other destinations.
Content ID claims
Fan uploads, remixes and vlogs using your sound can be claimed where Content ID is available to your release.
Official Artist Channel
One official home for your catalogue. Eligibility and the badge are decided by YouTube; we walk you through the steps.
Shorts monetization
Your track in the Shorts library where eligible — use is reported by YouTube, not counted by us.
Premium + ad revenue

identifies the release, not the recording. A 12-digit UPC-A becomes an EAN-13 by prefixing a zero — and the check digit does not change.
