Artists working in Finland release iskelmä and Finnish pop, metal in many forms, rap and electronic music. Recording happens mostly in Finnish, English and some Swedish, with titles written in the Latin alphabet. For metadata, keep the artist name spelled one way across every release, leave accented characters intact rather than stripping them, and set the title language tag to the language actually sung.
Money here is counted in Euro (EUR). Reporting is shown in the currency the platform pays out in, not converted per market, so allow for movement in the exchange rate between a statement and a withdrawal. Audiences mostly find releases through streaming services, radio and festival touring. Store and platform coverage in this territory varies and remains subject to current availability, eligibility and platform rules.
