Releases coming out of Rwanda lean toward Kinyarwanda afropop and R&B, gospel, traditional intore drumming and dance music, and rap. Kigali studios release steadily for a compact domestic market. Artists record mainly in Kinyarwanda, English, French and Swahili, and titles are written in the Latin alphabet. That keeps metadata straightforward: preserve accents and special characters exactly as the artist writes them, use one spelling of the artist name on every release, and tag each title with the language actually sung.
Money here is counted in Rwandan franc (RWF). Reporting is shown in the currency the platform pays out in, not converted per market, so allow for movement in the exchange rate between a statement and a withdrawal. Audiences mostly find releases through radio, YouTube and church and event circuits. Store and platform coverage in this territory varies and remains subject to current availability, eligibility and platform rules.
